Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model in the US. After gaining fame through his work in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. Apart from his appearances as a character in the film, he has been featured in more than 22 television series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. Two years after treatment the cancer has gone into the process of remission. But, early treatment had severe effects on his health as well as stunted growth. Once he started acting as if financial security was his ultimate goal as he had seen poverty throughout his childhood. After living so modestly for a long time, I must have this level of financial safety. If not, the world appears to be beyond my control. Also, looking back to his youth and his desire to make a difference in the issue of bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. He says that his ideal character would be father figures in the real world and on film. But he admits Directors don't have me as a character. One day he'd like to be a father himself in the future, when he could be able to spend much less time and energy to his profession and more time to his son.
